  • In order to secure your network you need to make sure that each piece of the network is secure.  This includes each server and router, ect.  This video is important because this is the starting point for making your network more secure.
  • Knowing how to set NTFS Permissions and knowing how to secure files and folders for the Users and Groups in your network is a great way to control who has access to specific information.
  • Configuring and using Security Auditing is going to allow you to keep track of specific security events.  Tracking these audits in the Event Viewer tool gives the administrator the ability to track security issues for specific users.  This is another beneficial feature of network security in Windows Server 2003.
